Changemakers who are ​seeking their Life Purpose...

At some stage, it’s not uncommon to experience:

• Depression
  
• Anger
  
• A sense of feeling STUCK

Wow! Overwhelming, right?!

I get it because I felt that way too…

By age 19 I was a very angry, lost, sad, hurt and lonely soul.

I had friends and family – even a faith of sorts – yet I still felt directionless and empty inside.

I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life.

I had a strong desire to do something which I would enjoy…

But I wanted to do something which I felt contained value.

Where would I even begin?

How do I even find something worthwhile and enjoyable when I’m feeling so lost?

I continued to spiral down emotionally and became more withdrawn as a person.

Often I would try gaining relief by escaping my situation through travel.

The ‘travel’ adventure meant I never had to stay in one spot for too long. This would distract me from my everyday pain.

I did have a vague ‘aha’ moment at one stage when one day a complete stranger came up to me in the streets of inner-city Brisbane, Australia.

Without knowing me, he introduced himself and told me I could keep running away from my problems by travelling…

but if I ever wanted to be content with myself, then eventually…

In order to progress...

I would have to face and sort out my personal issues .

His point being, resolving the issues starts with me!

Until I identify and address them...

The same issues will continue popping-up...

Maybe not immediately…

but before long they will show up again until I start working on myself.

I didn’t fully understand his point at the time…

but knew it was an important and profound message.

Years later, I now refer to this as developing a strong personal ​foundation.

It’s something each of us need to do.

For some it requires more groundwork than for others…

but once embraced it leads to strengthening

and is important and necessary for ongoing personal growth.

As the years progressed, I’m grateful for the profound areas of wisdom guidance and help offered to me from ​people who cared for and invested in me.

I could not have done this alone!

Over the next 20+ years following that ‘chance’ meeting,

I was introduced by various people and through studies, to several key resources, tools, and exercises.

Some of these I found were more effective than others.

A select few standing the test of time.

Through a strategic approach I now use these to help people understand, build and strengthen their own ​‘personal foundations’.

I learnt so much in the areas of self-discovery, purpose and calling. It was a slow journey, often filled with ​trial-and-error…

But it has allowed me to see and experience what works - and what doesn’t!

Do I need to have some idea of

I’m headed?

Can I schedule it in my time-zone?

You can schedule the call in YOUR time-zone (you’ll see that on the ​calendar booking page, so hopefully you can find a slot that works ​perfectly for you.

If the calendar says ‘closed’, that’s because the spots are all filled up, but ​if there are spaces left, you’ll be able to choose which time slots are still ​available.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

Three things:

• Make the most of our time together by ensuring you are away from ​distractions, and come with a ‘doing’ attitude.
